Dear Gray,
Today you are four weeks old!! I can't believe it!! Your dad text me on April Fool's Day and said to hurry to the hospital--you were coming!! I raced to the high school to pick up Aunt Helen and then raced to the hospital. From the time I got the text (2:50pm) to the time you were born (5:51pm) was exactly three hours!! You were SO ready to come out and see everyone!!
Your mom and I only got to see you for a minute before the nurses took you with Daddy to the NICU. And I didn't get to see you again till April 17th--my birthday and the day you finally came home from the hospital.
